About The PDL
The proven developmental leader in North American amateur soccer. The PDL has been recognized as an important stepping-stone for top professionals now playing throughout the world, with nearly 70 percent of all MLS selections since 2010 having PDL experience. This summer league consists of 14 regular season matches for each participating team, and provides elite collegiate players the opportunity to taste a higher level of competition.
About S.I.M.A Aguilas
In 2017 S.I.M.A entered the PDL as one of the most respected programs in the country. After their first year of competition, S.I.M.A Aguilas found themselves winning the Southeast Division and advancing to the PDL playoffs. As a result of their 2017 success, the Aguilas have qualified for 2018 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, for the opportunity to compete against USL and MLS clubs. Much of their success was created with some of the most elite players in the country. Three players that led the Aguilas are the same players that will be participating in the 2018 MLS Super Draft. Rafael Santos (VCU), Diego Campos (Clemson) and Jason Wright (Clemson) Hope that their experience with S.I.M.A Aguilas will land them a MLS contract for 2018.
