Attention Captains/players. The new procedures for requesting players to be added or transferred to your team are as follows:
When not in season:
- Player must send an email to office@centralfloridasoccer.com
- Once request received, e-mail will go to prospective team to see if they wish to add him/her.
- Once office receives reply that he/she accepts player wishing to be transferred, office will send e-mail to captain from previous team to alert him/her of the player request. (Captain will not have the option to decline since not in season)
- Player will then be transferred.
When in season: (After first game in any division has been played, EVEN if the division teams are in has not played a game)
- Player must send an email to office@centralfloridasoccer.com
- Once request received, e-mail will go to prospective team to see if they wish to add him/her.
- Once office receives reply that he/she accepts player wishing to be transferred, office will send e-mail to captain from previous team to alert him/her of the player request.
- Since in season, captain of previous team has option to accept or decline and state reasoning.
- If Captain declines:
- If reasoning is because player owes money, then the two teams can make restitution if the new team agrees to pay the fees owed to the former team.
- Once fees are paid Captain of previous team is required to release the player and grant the transferred.
- If captain just refuses to grant the transfer for other reasons, that is his/her prerogative and the league cannot force a transfer.
- If Captain accepts:
- Player will then be transferred.
